Q.
We have 1.10 years old baby and my wife stopped giving her milk to baby after 1 year and from past 1 day my wife is feeling pain in the right breast...she identified a lump in the right breast and she is getting milk when she is pressing that breast...I need to find out the reason for this..She is feeling very scary...Can someone suggest if anyone facing same kind of issue or faced the same in past?If yes what to do to resolve this?

Author of questionFather of a 2 yr 10 m old girl12 months agoA. Hi thanks for your response...she stopped giving milk slowly almost 9 months back .But we observed lumps from 2 days...not getting the exact issue.Visited doctor and they had given medicines for 3 days.

Okay so has your wife quit suddenly overnight on the quitting of the breastfeeding or your wife has done it with the process by slowly withdrawing because when you do it overnight that is still making milk which is by the lumps are formulated which is normal so she should do hot compress she should consult the doctor for a medicine that will help in reducing down the feeding and will dry up within 3 to 5 days
