Q.

We are doing a combination of breast milk + Formula for our one month old. which is the best method to do this... We are getting conflcting information from various avenues... 1) BM + Formula together 2 ) BM and formula alternatively. 3) BM + expressed milk + formula... and so on.. any bottle recommendations for giving the Formula milk. for one month old.. we tried using medela calma but she is not taking it.. now we are using commotomo and avent...

A. Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some suppglements may be helpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .
