#asktheexpert Is it recommended to supplement breast milk with formula for a 3 month old baby? what are the pros and cons of this?

A. please give only breastmilk till completion of six months. feed in upright position and burp in-between and after feeding sessions and give colicaid drops thrice a day. start formula after six months

A. No There is nothing like that if you have a good amount of breastfeeding for a child you should not introduce formula to the child and if you do not have then you can give formula feeding of course and it would be recommended and there is no pros and cons to it you can go ahead with whatever you like
