ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, you can stop breastfeeding once your baby completes 2 years. breastfeeding till 2 years provides immunity to your baby, provides better nutrition and deepens the mother child bond.

as breastfeeding is not only food for a child ,it provides comfort and security too
I would suggest to wean your child gradually.
for that ,first understand your child's feeding patterns and hunger cues and then set your child mealtime accordingly.
