Vitamin d3 deficiency low serum ferritin Female, 6 I need your advice. My 6yrs old daughter has vitamin D3 deficiency. A dermatologist prescribed Uprise D3 60K once a week, her ferritin level is 29.3 and she has given Livogen z tablet before breakfast but I felt those dose are high. Is it safe to start giving this to her??

A. 29.3 actually seems higher but if your doctor has suggested you something on the basis of the assessment that they made on the basis of reports of the test that you have done if they are suggesting something then I would suggest you to kindly proceed with your doctors advice and in case of doubt you can take second opinion from another doctor
