Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. umbilical granuloma / umbilical polyp
they are usually remnants of umbilicus post delivery. usually does not require any type of major treatment except neosporine powder application or t-bact cream application and maintenance of hygiene and proper cleanliness. if it continues to persist beyond 6 months of age requires surgical intervention like quarterization or ligation removal
sometimes this is is seen in children and is very common in them. usually they are immature hair fall of and does not require any type of treatmentx. you have to just continue regular breastfeeding and vitamin d supplements and other supplements given by your doctor. if you feel that the hair loss is excessive you can take a medical opinionx. regular scalp massage will help in increasing hair growth
