Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis wherde symptomatic treatment along with managemdent for dehydgration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Nahi You cannot use gripe water so I will recommend you instead you go ahead with the consultation with your doctor again and shift to non-lactose milk for the time being I think your child is still having lactose bass milk which is why your child is constantly suffering with diarrhoea so you need to get that checked with your doctor ones
