I have notice that my daughter have shallow latch from my point of view.
so from shallow latch enough milk is she getting?
plus her pee count is normal in 24 hours and she gaining weight also?
I have no pain during breastfeeding or after also.
there is no nipple pain so everything is ok?
is my baby getting enough milk?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. yes your baby having sufficient milk. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment

If your child is full for 2 to 3 hours and getting sufficient amount of weight then it is all good and don’t get into these details of deep latch and shallow latch there could be a lot of things are unnecessarily going to get confused the most important part of your child is taking feed properly and gaining sufficient amount of weight then that is good enough that’s what you need to focus upon
