A. If your baby started shivering, it could be due to a few reasons: Cold or chill — Babies can get cold quickly, especially if the room or their clothes aren’t warm enough. Fever or infection — Shivering can sometimes be a sign that the body is fighting an infection and trying to raise its temperature. Low blood sugar or weakness — If the baby hasn’t eaten enough or is weak, shivering might happen. Other medical issues — Rarely, it could be due to neurological or other health problems. What to do now: Check your baby’s temperature with a thermometer. Make sure the baby is warmly dressed and in a comfortable environment. Offer feeding to keep them nourished. Watch for other symptoms like fever, lethargy, vomiting, or irritability. If shivering continues, or your baby looks unwell, has a fever, or behaves unusually, please consult a pediatrician immediately to rule out any serious causes.
