Q.
today 1.5 months old baby vaccination got done ton my daughter. Gave calpol 100 drops 0.4ml as she had pain in her leg and also fever.. but now she's vomiting after every feed.. vomiting completely whatever she had. Is this normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry.
Srwelling can be rheduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain.
Thrombophtobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .
