A. Weight of baby largely depends on the birth weight in the initial months. Ideally, they should double the birth weight by tge time they turn 5 months old. Best way to increase it is by feeding milk frequently and fully. If breastfeeding, then nurse 6-7 times a day which will include atleast one night time feed too after waking him up. If giving formula milk, then feed 150-180 ml milk 5-6 times a day.
