there is itching in vaginal area of my 2and 8years old daughter.is it something to worry about.pls suggest some remedy

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. avoid wet garment. see a lot of brands are available to allure you. you should get prescription n adhere to products manuals. avoid too expensive and see to good brands with guarantee ok. for skin lesions avoid rough handling. try to put only medicated ointment. keep up with the doctor who can see and advise. don't miss on any medicine for best results.

it happens because of low intake of fluids,dry skin, allergy to something like fabric or cosmetics or Infection
apply thin layer of coconut oil there
choose loose fitting Cotton clothes for your child
avoid using diapers for now
if there is symptoms like irritability, pain, increase redness, irritation, urine with fishy or foul smell please visit your pediatrician
