Q.

there is a small wound on my nipple. inspite of applying nipcare cream, its not getting cured because it gets wet again and again when there is milk flow through it. what can i do to cure it?

A. in order to heal it, it should remain dry for long time. but since im feeding, the milk comes out of the nipple due to which it gets wet and then there is no use of any cream on it.

A. To promote skin healing, clean your breasts gently with a mild soap during your daily shower and rinse well. Then apply a pea-sized portion of your breast milk or medical grade modified lanolin on your nipples to prevent dryness. Use non-plastic lined bras and/or bra pads, and change the pads frequently.
