Q.

the swelling at injection site doesnt decrease even after applying ice, shall I try keeping a hot cloth for few secs or soaking for few mins in hot tub

A. Yeha you can try If there is fever give paracetamol as prescribed by your doctor. see that if there is a pain and little swelling, give a hot compress to baby. Soak a cotton cloth in hot water squeeze it and gently press on injected area. Ensure wzye risnt too hot. Also cold compress czn help baby relax. If there is heavy swelling or puss or heavy redness then immediately you should see your doctor.
