the baby has white spot under tounge....waht can be the reason

A. Thrush is caused by an overgrowth of Candida yeast and may appear as milky white patches inside your baby's mouth. Thrush rarely appears exclusively on the tongue and will often coat the parts of the mouth your baby uses to suck, like the inner and outer lips and inner cheeks.Your baby's doctor will likely prescribe a liquid antifungal that you'll apply directly to white patches. For the medicine to work, you'll want it to sit on their tongue or inside their mouth for as long as possible. So give your baby treatments at least 30 minutes before feedings
