Q.

Tejas is now 2years 11 months but he is not gaining weight. He is 12kg . Please suggest some deit to increase his weight

A. For healthy weight gain, it is important to include fat and protein rich foods like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, chicken, eggs, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado and 550-600 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids like water, curd, buttermilk, fresh juices and coconut water.
