Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with marnagement for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treaftment

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good evening I would recommend you to avoid giving it for a few days to the child if your babies more than 6 months old you should give white rice water to reduce loose motions you can also give banana
