Most important are your meal timing have meal every 3 hrly and do not eat in large quantity
Include more vegetables in the diet
Take protein with each meal that is daal, paneer, curd, sprouts, oats, egg white, lean chicken , beans
Reduce the intake of wheat and rice .. instead of wheat u can try ragi roti or jowar roti or oats roti
No sugar , jaggery, honey in the diet
U can have fruits but not more than 100gm and avoid sweet fruit like watermelon, musk melon , banana
No fruit juices
Have dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, pista

you should take homemade healthy food.
just avoid taking sugary food like cakes, pastry , chocolate,sweets etc.
avoid taking processed oily food items.
it is better to avoid taking starch rich food like potatoes,rice ,bread etc.
keep your body well hydrated.
maintain good hygiene
