A. A small watery bump or blister-like pulp on the sole of a four-month-old baby’s foot could be due to friction (rubbing against socks, blankets, or bedding), a mild heat rash, or sometimes a small skin infection. In most cases, it's harmless and goes away on its own. Keep the area clean and dry, avoid tight socks or clothing, and don’t burst the bump. If it grows, turns red, seems painful, or if the baby develops a fever or shows discomfort, consult your pediatrician to rule out any infection or other condition.
