Q.

Sir we have 40 days old baby girl, she is suffering from cough, that is come in night. Please suggest me what to do.

A. This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough.d It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat. For fever and pdain give paracetamol Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirefct steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

U Should consult your paediatrician for a proper course of medication for this thing also on the other side I’m going to advise you to start nebulising your child to times in a day because nebulisation does play a very important role when a child is suffering with severe cough and they are not able to breathe or have things properly due to difficult cash
