Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be agaicn repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can also do cold spongivng of the body if required

Temperature is going to be more than 99° fahrenheit you just have to take a thermometer measure the temperature in if it crosses 99° fahrenheit then it is fever that’s the only thing that you will come to that your child is suffering from fever there is no other symptoms as such
