A. Every baby is different and you should take this slowly. Try increasing the baby's feed by five or ten ml and see if he or she tolerates it without spitting or vomiting. Then slowly increase the quantity and the extend the interval between feeds. If the baby spits up or vomit then you have to continue with the same amount u give the baby now for few more days and then try again. To increase your milk supply you may follow these. Have lot of skin to skin sessions with your baby. This is called kangaroo therapy. It improves Breastmilk, improves baby weight and encourages Breastfeeding. And the key is to feed frequently which will inturn increase your milk supply. Milk secretion increases based on demand. So more and more your baby sucks or tries to feed ur milk supply will increase. Garlic or Garlic milk, fenugreek seeds, nuts, oats, green leafy vegetables, ridge gourd, bottle gourd, pumpkin, pulses. Including these in your daily diet can increase milk supply. Also check with your gynecologist and get some supplement like galact granules prescribed. It can also increase breastmilk. Don't leave long gaps between feeds, frequent pumping will increase milk.
