sir, my son is now 19 months old, till now he is not speaking, expect some 2 to 3 words, is there any problem, when i consulted my regular Padetrician he has suggested to consult Speech therapist, is it is really necessary.

A. don't think there is need now.. keep encouraging the baby more and more speaking.. keep questioning about everything and every time.. break the words and sentence and let baby repeat after you.. let the baby mingle with same age groups.. some babies may take let time to start speaking..
