Q.

sir my daughter Is 7th month old and her weight is 7th kg.I introduce her cerelac after 6th month but she is not taking interest of eating it. plz suggest me some weight gaining food for her.plzzzz

A. Dear mum, your baby’s weight is normal. You can give foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. Give 2 to 3 meals a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.

A. mash boiled banana is a good food to start with. easy to digest. weight gaining

A. Hello Instead of cerelac, it is best to give home cooked foods like upma, ragi porridge, Vegetable soup, mashed potatoes, mashed banana, sheera. Add caloric dense foods like ghee almonds walnuts cashews dates banana chickoo peanuts til seeds coconut avocado to baby's recipes for Healthy weight gain
