Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. there are multiple causes of limb pain during this age because it can be normal due to growth pain.
it can also occur due to znutritional deficiency mainly vitamin b12 iron and calcium deficiency.
if there is excessive playful activity by the child during the daytime it is but obvious that during the night time there migzht be limb pain.
if the limbs are paining without any activity then yes medical examination and treatment will be required
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Growing pains are often described as an ache or throb in the legs — often in the front of the thighs, the calves or behind the knees. Growing pains tend to affect both legs and occur at night, and may even wake a child from sleep. Although these pains are called growing pains, there's no evidence that growth hurts.
