Q.

sir ,my baby is 8 m old. and is very irritable wholenday,plays for some time and then he gets irritated bcz of teething and frequent awaking at night,not taking feed properly ,also. his forehead and palm remain very warm with forehead always sweating.

A. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles. you have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100f or more. the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas which is normal. if the child is irritable you should visit the doctor
