sir my baby is 7 month old, he is passing black strain in the stool, he is also having VSD, can you tell me the causes of black strain in the stool, more often it is said that feeding banana results to it, but I didn't feed him banana.

Hello ma’am I don’t think so it is because of banana maybe we are just giving some iron supplement to the child which is why this is happening but still for surety nothing can be said for sure so just consult your paediatrician in either of the cases for a better understanding and medication if needed
