Q.

sir my baby is 2 yrs 11 months old.. she is having recurring fever after 10-15 days since 4-5 months.. getting checked by doctor and she has been given antibiotics 5 times in this period..tests are also got done n everything fine except neutrophils which is 81.80 i.e on higher side n lymphocytes which is 12.. pls advise what could be the reason n is it advisable to give so many times antibiotics

A. if your child is having recurrent fever you will have to visit the doctor to find the diagnosis because if it is due to same infection or a superadded infection or a different infection. the doctor will go for blood investigations along with blood culture which will help in proper diagnosisd. as soon as the child recover kindly go for flu vaccine which will help in preventing recurrent viral infections. go for proper homemade food made from cereals pulses vegetablex milk and fruits which will help in improving the overall immunity of the child
