Q.

Sir , my baby is 2 months 10 days old . For how many times I should feed my baby . Baby is less often demanding. His birth weight was 2.97 kg and now he is only 4.86 kg . Is it normal weight gain ? Sir even I have insufficient milk supply , getting galact and domperidone, still supply is less I think . My baby is always getting top feed of around 60 to 90 ml . Is it that am not having enough supply ? Kindly reply sir

A. Hello mom the weight gain is good enough for the baby .. monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by 4 to 6 months they almost double their birth weight. when exclusively breast feeding it is always good to feed on demand.
