A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam ifenhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. For a baby under six months of age, mother’s milk is the best home remedy for dry cough. Keep feeding breast milk to your baby as and when required. Breast milk is rich in nutrients and provides antibodies to the baby to fight infections.
