Q.

sir doctor on phone prescribed me cepodem -xp 50 to my 8 month old daughter with two days fever. is it viral or bacterial infection? is it correct? she doesn't have runny nose but sometime pr rarely block her nose as well thank you

A. If prescribed by your doctor then can ge given and it is difficult to say whether it is bacterial or viral infection so for blocked nose put saline nasal drops steaming twice a day and keep roasted ajwain potli close to baby
