Q.
since 2 days my child having fever 99.7 . Doctor advised crocin 240 suspension sos. tomorrow going to be 3rd day..Rest little cold for that i gave maxtra today but i wanna now why it keeps reoccurring or any antibiotics to. start??

Author of questionMom of a 6 yr 1 m old boy2 years agoA. I hv noticed after 2 months roughly my child stool doing pattern changes.Since beginning he only does once a day very rare twice. But in between he does alternate days that lead to tight stomach n constipation. once or twice I hv given syrup suggested by doctor. Since two days i am giving Woodward gripe water in morning empty stomach than he passed stool nicely. So occasionally what to do in constipation accept diet bz diet is good n water in take

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fezver continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor
please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

If the fever completely does not subside within 72 hours then you can go ahead with a blood test but currently the fever is really very low I hope the fever is going to be sorted by tomorrow because it is very mild fever so no need of antibiotics as of now just continue with what your doctor has suggested
