POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy5 months agoA. At five months old, babies develop at their own pace, and some may take a little longer to reach certain milestones. While many babies start sucking their feet and attempting to sit with support around this age, it is not a strict rule for all. If your daughter isn’t sucking her feet or sitting by herself yet, it’s important to consider other aspects of her development. Does she have good head control? Does she respond to sounds, track objects with her eyes, or attempt to roll over? These are also important indicators of progress. Encourage tummy time to strengthen her muscles, support her in a sitting position with pillows, and engage her in playful activities that encourage movement. However, if she seems very stiff, too floppy, or isn’t showing interest in movement, it’s always a good idea to consult a pediatrician for reassurance and guidance. Every baby is different, and small delays are usually not a cause for concern.
