If you notice excessive drooling, mild fever, loose motions, irritation in gums, putting everything in mouth, then, new teeth must be emerging. So, give easy to swallow foods. Massage gums with clean finger or cotton cloth and give a chilled teether to chew on.
And if baby does not pass stool regularly or feel uncomfortable, include fiber rich foods like dry fruits, oats, beans, broccoli, green leafy vegetables, rice, puffed rice, apple and prune juice and variety of fluids. Massage stomach in circular motion and move legs in cycling rotation to improve digestion.
