A. Night sweating with cold hands and feet in children can be caused by several factors. Here are some possible reasons and what you can do: Possible Causes: Overheating – If Rudraksh is bundled up in too many clothes or a warm room, he may sweat excessively. What to do? Dress him in light, breathable cotton clothes and keep the room temperature comfortable. Normal Growth Phase – Some kids naturally sweat more during sleep due to their developing nervous system. Vitamin D or Iron Deficiency – Deficiencies in these can sometimes cause excessive sweating and cold extremities. What to do? Ensure he gets a balanced diet with iron-rich foods (like spinach, lentils) and vitamin D (exposure to sunlight, fortified foods). Infections or Fever History – If he recently had a fever, sweating could be his body’s way of cooling down. Thyroid or Metabolism Issues – Though rare, conditions like hyperthyroidism or other metabolic concerns can cause night sweating. Sleep Apnea or Respiratory Issues – If he snores or has difficulty breathing while sleeping, consult a doctor. When to Consult a Doctor? If sweating is accompanied by: Rapid breathing Weight loss Poor appetite or weakness Frequent infections Extreme tiredness during the day If it's just occasional, adjusting his sleeping environment and checking his nutrition should help. Let me know if he has any other symptoms!
