Prescribe medicine for insect bite near eye, there is swelling and redness on the eye.

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician1 Year agoA. Hello dear. Insect bite near eye you can apply borolene or soframycin if it is safe distance from the eye. Simple ice fomentation will work well if very close to eyes.

It’s better to consult your paediatrician they’ll have to advise you with the medication that is going to be applicable in this situation because you know it is near the eye so they’ll have to advise you with some medicine which is suitable if it enters into the eyes of your child it will not create a problem but as of now you can do cold sponge using an ice cube or cold pack
