Q.

premature baby born at 34 weeks with 1.8kg. So pead adviced not to go with vaccination now till weight increases to 2kg. now after 25days baby weighs around 2.2kg, shall we proceed for vaccination. if yes what are the vaccination needs to take now? only BCG or the 1st month recommended vaccine also? #Vaccination

A. no problem you can activate till the baby is more than 2.5 kgsIt is always advisable for the baby to take the vaccinations according to schedule if you have missed the vaccines because of the ongoing pandemic now we can take the vaccine for the baby no problem

At 1 to 2 months, your baby should receive vaccines to protect them from the following diseases: Hepatitis B (HepB) (2nd dose) Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (pertussis) (DTaP) (1st dose) Haemophilus influenzae type b disease (Hib) (1st dose) Polio (IPV) (1st dose) Pneumococcal disease (PCV13) (1st dose)
