Q.
Prajyot mother is no more after 11 days of hi birth, so we are feeding him formula milk nutrica Dexolac,is it good for him or we should try for some mother milk too

Author of questionFather of a 4 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. he is taking nutrica dexolac from his birth means from27 days bcoz his mother was covid positive during his birth so she can't feed him a single time nd I think that formula milk suits him

Sir in that case better to give formula feed.. as many times even when mother is there but she is not able to feed the child formula is given so no issue in giving formula .. u can just keep a check that whether the formula is suiting or u need to give another

Author of questionFather of a 4 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. thank you Divya mam for Your valuable advice,one more thing to ask that if we search breastfeed mother's than no body will give his feed upto 6 months and in this situation we will have to change the mother after sometime so this will be good for him to change one or more breastfeeder

It’s ok if the child is given formula feed there is no problem in it just make sure proper hygiene is maintained to avoid infection
You can search for breast milk bank in your city for breast milk
Do not give cow or any animal milk only give formula milk to the child..

Yes If there is no sufficient breastfeeding for a child and it is always recommended to start giving formula feeding to the baby and in this case if the child has no mother then it would be the best option for you to continue with formula feeding only and if you want to change the brand please consult your paediatrician ones
