ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. For 7 months old baby, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. Include all seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. Use full cream milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Continue to breastfeed baby.

Some babies don’t gain weight easily. But in such cases if your baby is active and taking proper meals on time then everything is fine and nothing to worry about. You should add cereals in babies regular diet plan. Cereals is a good source of proteins and nutrition and also help in gaining weight. You should also start giving banana shake every morning.
