Hello mom Babies by this age can be introduced to semisolid and mashed food can be given to them you need to start one food at a time and then gradually increase the variety and the number of meals as well and the quantity too you can give foods like Suji or ragi porridge, vegetable and fruit purée, curds ,ghee ,khichadi ,soups as well
Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. it is very important to give food gradually made from cereals pulses vegetables milk and fruits. initially start with dal and then gradually start khichdi and halva and fruits and give intermittently breastfeeding. you should give at least half a katori two times per day from cereals pulses and vegetables and half a katori two times per day from fruits along with intermittent breastfeeding
SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good evening Intilaly simple purees like carrot, potato, banana and simple waters like rice or dal water can be given. These are easy digesting foods for baby. Then second week you can continue with other purees or combination of two fruits veggies, the third week you can give instant homemade rice cereal. Slowly you can add a veggie or fruit to the rice cereal this would give a different taste. One meal a day is enough for six month old baby. With few spoons of water
