Q.

pls help Baby had cold from Feb 8 and fever one day Feb 9 and fever got subsided ans she became normal ... Then after 3 days today morning 12 am she started crying so much and then after 4 hours fever re occurred today around 100.2 went to doctor he said it will take time for her to get settled due to cold and he asked to wait till Thursday please help doctor

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give patracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can gbe again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
