I am a mother of 2 daughters and they were also exclusively breastfed for first 2 years of their life. After 6 months, you can introduce iron rich foods like potatoes, sweet potatoes, red meat, egg yolk, lentils, kidney beans, chickpeas, soybeans, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, etc. But these should be introduced gradually over time depending on your baby's age. But if you want to introduce formula milk and iron supplements, please consult your doctor before giving it to your baby.

As babies get their iron content from mother's milk or iron fortified formula milk that they eat. Once the baby completes 6 months, you can also start offering green leafy vegetables especially spinach which is rich in iron.
