Q.

please suggest how can i stop my baby from sucking her thumb. she is now 9 months. is pediatric suggested nipples are best ? she also sucks her thumb when we are out. and i am really worried due to corona and baceria's. shall i give her dentist suggested nipples to stop sucking her thumb. i feel pacifiers can be sopped soon than sucking thumb.

A. its not possible to divert her because she is addict to it. kindly please suggest some other ideas. or using a pacifier and later stppping is it a good idea ?

A. you have to just divert the child and you have to engage the child in something different so that the child forget about the nipple or the thump and this is the best form of decreasing the habit

A. Use positive reinforcement. Praise your child or provide small rewards — such as an extra bedtime story or a trip to the park — when he or she isn't thumb sucking. Identify triggers. Offer gentle reminders.
