Q.

please help me,,my baby boy is 4 months old, since birth this white spot is near the waist , and now the spot is growing and is also on the chest

A. I agree with Dr answer.Even my son has some white paches but it was due to dry skin issue doctor suggested Nivea cream or coconut oil everyday post bathing. It will slowly fade off. But do physically show to a dr for clearly diagnosis, as it's just dry skin or any skin rashes.

A. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues beyond two weexks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation. some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, axllergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.
