#pediatrics my 7.5 month old makes aa sound but she does not do back and forth with us. she smiles at us in response and at times responds to her name being called. she signals to be picked up and when she is done with food. is this communication good for the age or she is lacking somewhere. worried please suggest

A. Hello mom Baby is only seven months old he will not talk he will either make some sound or show actions as such to communicate so not to worry over a period of time just notice him closely also gets get some age appropriate books read Or sing for him so that there is a Eye contact and a mode of communication with the baby would help

To encourage consonant babbling, we try to make sounds with her. but she either stops doing herself or does not look at us. how can we encourage back and forth cooing or sounds considering she is more interested in playing with toys, grabbing things or trying to pull herself up. Q. #Pediatrics My 6 months 20 days old daughter recently started making sounds like aa, etc. a week back and is constantly doing it on her own since then. she tries to sit independently, gets into crawling position, does commando crawl and reaches out for things, makes eye contact, smiles, laughs while playing with us and observes things. Areas of concern: 1. she does not have back and forth communication of sounds with us. 2. no babbling yet 3. not responding to name. at times we see if we suddenly call name after silence, she looks. not sure if this is just response to sound in silence or wat. please suggest.
