#Pediatrics My 7.5 month old baby does back and forth exchange of smile but no back and forth sounds, though she makes sound of aa. she otherwise can sit, crawl and these days tries to stand with support. is this age appropriate, esp on communication side I am concerned. Please suggest.p

A. your 7 months baby is having all appropriate milestones according to the age to make such sounds baby may have one or two months extra you can wait in your baby

To encourage consonant babbling, we try to make sounds with her. but she either stops doing herself or does not look at us. how can we encourage back and forth cooing or sounds considering she is more interested in playing with toys, grabbing things or trying to pull herself up.
