Q.

#Pediatrics my 1 year 10 months old daughter walks independently, plays, recognizes her name, claps, waves bye bye, understands basic instructions, says few words like ca for car, ba for bye, mm for water etc. she knows who mumma and papa are and looks at us when we call name and hands over things to right person if we ask her to do so. Concerns: 1. she can say papa but it's like when tell her to say papa and she does so by mostly looking at her father, rarely initiating call on her own 2. when she learns new word, she says it a lot whenever in context and then suddenly would stop using it or say it only when in mood. Worried. is this age appropriate. please suggest

A. Hi parent She's just fantastic. please don't be so concerned and what she has achieved at such young age is more than satisfactory. so please don't expect her to learn the things that fast please reduce screen time and keep giving her nutritious diet as well as breast milk.
