Q.

pediatrician advised to start semi solids after my baby completes 5 and half months. I started giving Ragi porridge to my baby. She is not pooping after eating ragi porridge. even if she poops it's very thick and she is not able to do it. I do give small amount of water as well. Can you pls tell the solution for this

A. no need to worry about the frequency and colour of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid. also there is no need to worry about the smell of the stool if the consistency is normal. you have to mexet the doctor if it is watery inconsistency or hard consistency otherwise semi solid to solid stool is normal. also passing stool after taking food is normal.
