A. Pain while urine is not a good sign. The child is either dehydrated or has got infection. Either way start giving enough of water so that your child is passing urine every one hourly. also meet your paediatrician to get your child examined

A. Painful urination, also known as dysuria, can be caused by various issues, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), dehydration, or irritation. Here are some steps to help relieve the discomfort: 1. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help flush out any bacteria from the urinary tract and reduce irritation. 2. Avoid Irritating Substances: Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods, as these can irritate the bladder and make symptoms worse. 3. Practice Good Hygiene: Clean the genital area thoroughly but gently. Avoid scented soaps, bubble baths, and feminine hygiene sprays, as they can cause irritation. 4. Use a Warm Compress: Applying a warm compress to the lower abdomen may help alleviate pain and reduce discomfort. 5. Consult a Doctor: Painful urination can sometimes indicate a UTI or other infection, which may require antibiotics. If the pain persists, or if you experience symptoms like fever, cloudy or foul-smelling urine, or lower abdominal pain, it's important to see a healthcare provider for diagnosis and treatment. 6. Over-the-Counter Pain Relief: If recommended by a doctor, a mild pain reliever can help ease the discomfort temporarily. Getting medical advice promptly can ensure proper treatment and help prevent complications, especially if it’s due to an infection.
