Q.

#paediatrician My daughter is 8 months 1 week old and she weighs 6.4 kgs and is 64 cm tall. She is extremely active, crawls and tries to stand with support. Please suggest if her weight and height is okay. She looks thin but her dad also is on the thinner side. What can I do to make her gain weight?

A. 8 Months Old Baby should be gaining additional weight to triple his birth weight by age 1. Baby Should Eat: Breast milk or formula, chunkier purees, and some finger foods. Try scrambled eggs and small bite-size (about a half inch) cubes of well-done pasta, vegetables, meatballs, cheese, and ripe fruit.
